As we approach the end of April, I’m taking a moment to pause the Yin and Yang series I had planned for 2026. This month, two commissions took center stage, and I couldn’t wait to share them with you. So, while the balance of yin and yang will return, I invite you to explore these new works that have been close to my heart.
Anatomy of a Kidney
First, let me introduce a commission inspired by last year’s “Open Heart Life” piece. A dear acquaintance, strong and wise woman, but also inspiring artist commissioned this work, asking for a similar emotional depth. Below, you’ll see the original “Open Heart” alongside the new kidney piece—a reflection of the same vivid energy, but in a different form.
The Lotus Baby
This second commission is a precious gift from two parents to their daughter, symbolizing purity, hope, and new beginnings. As you scroll, I hope you feel the gentle power of this vision.
